Aftermarket exhaust systems are a very common and personal modification for Honda S2000 owners the world over, and if you're looking for a S2000 Exhaust system, you're sure to have some questions.

Many people go about searching for an exhaust system by looking for the exhaust system that will give the largest power gains.  In spite of what a lot of exhaust manufacturers might claim, the gains from an exhaust should be more or less about the same from brand to brand.  There will be some variations here and there, but for the most part exhaust systems on modern cars are designed to be as efficient as possible from the manufacturer.  Gone are the days when a simple exhaust would free up significant horsepower.

One area where significant gains can be made on the Honda S2000 specifically is weight.  The stock system, while pretty free flowing and efficient, is pretty heavy.  People who are looking for a weight reduction should look into a single cat back or a titanium exhaust.

The drawback to a single exhaust is that the exhaust will be louder, so it is important to take your own personal preference into account when choosing the exhaust.

Honda S2000 exhausts come in many different flavors.  Below is a compilation of exhaust clips posted on the internet featuring a variety of options from cat back exhausts, to custom exhausts that use universal mufflers:
